When i first packed this Beckham, i looked at his card and didnt felt he looked good. I tried different formation with him, and in the end i actually ended up playin him as CM in the 4-1-3-2 formation, which may sound weird, but he actually plays like a beast in that position. If youre looking for a good CAM/CM and want to try something different, this is your guy. He can shoot long shots, and make some incredible passes. He can do everything, other than skilling, which is one of the only problems with him. So far he has played really well for me. I´ll definetly recommend him to anyone!
He is very good to link, obviously when hes an icon
Hes shooting is very good.
Hes passing is great.
He is 3-star and 3-star, but only matters if you are a good skiller.
When he comes out as a right-mid, and you want to use him as a CM, you are going to miss a RM/RW.
Was struggling to get the most out of FBD Atal as an LCM or RCM in a 41212 narrow, and I needed to use a RM for chem purposes. Prime Beckham has been the perfect solution for half the price. He fits so beautifully into the LCM role, especially if you use your LB as the attacking fullback in the 41212 tactics that Nick runs, which gives him an extra option. This is very helpful because his pace and skill moves mean he can only drive the ball so far in one take. With that extra help the pace is fine as is and Finisher chem makes the most sense.
He plays Tika taka, beautiful long passes, and his great off the ball movement has him always rearing up for an absolutely yucky curler into the top right bin. However, the biggest game changer vs. Atal has probably been avoiding the horror of seeing Atal’s base card face every time he comes up as a suggested sub. Nightmares...
- It’s David Beckham.
- Gives your team some variety
- His 3*3, pace, and price helps calm everything down and I found I played better with it. I think some of my Atal struggles was the pressure to get the most from him
- Brilliant shots, especially with the finesse trait. He has that magnet that makes his shooting super forgiving
- Great passing lets him fit right into a midfield
- Pace and Skill Moves
- Obviously you want to use the right foot if possible, but his left foot still bangs
I played beckahm in a 4-5-1 as a cam and i am a current elite 1 player. For me he was unstoppable when he as scoring 27 goals and 30 assist in 30 games
